I just left a comment on the BBC web site:

So another one bites the dust eh? Now I have even less BBC to watch while I commute each morning and travel around the world. Why did the BBC BOTHER to ask us (me!) my opinion about its podcasting when it knew DAMN FULL WELL it was going to kill it stone dead and replace it with the P.O.S. iPlayer - which I can't watch on my iPod. So much for my TV licence..."
