I've been in Dubai for a day or so now and have a half-decent internet connection here in the hotel.

The problem here is this picture

I get this when I visit a number of sites such as Twitter which is a royal pain in the ass. Interestingly I was expecting BoingBoing to be blocked but it isn't.

Now, off into the 40degC / 100+degF heat... Blechhh.


Update: Add Flickr and FriendFeed. I couldn't live here the censorship would drive me nuts.
